Salena had come to her summer home in search of inspiration, but the heat had led her to leisurely enjoy her time without a single brushstroke being added to her canvas. After weeks of this stalemate, the client who had commissioned her eventually grew tired of her excuses and decided to provide her with much needed motivation. Under the pretense of visiting to check on the painting’s progress, Salena’s client sits her down in front of her unfinished painting, tapes her wrists and ankles and sticks a bundle of brushes in her mouth for good measure.
